PROLAMAT is one of the oldest conferences in the field of manufacturing. Created in 1969 in Roma as the "PROgrammingLAnguages for MAchine Tools" and Digital Computer Application to Process Control conference this triennial event has been a basic meeting for academic and industrial experts in manufacturing ever since. Recently PROLAMAT has been reorganized into NEW PROLAMAT. It now includes not only the original topics, but all other Information Technologies that automate, integrate, and optimize the process of innovation, design, manufacturing and management, including environmental and life cycle issues. The primary goal of CogInfoCom is to provide a systematic view of how cognitive processes can co-evolve with infocommunications devices irrespective of geographical distance.
